Violent, shocking, dangerous and arresting - the challenging artworks, performances and actions by the artist Kendell Geers reflect back unsettling truths of our lives today. Exiled from his native South Africa during Apartheid, Belgian-based Geers creates works that challenge our received notions about politics, language, human nature and our place in the world. "No Government, No Cry," his recent exhibition and manifesto inspired by the lack of government in Belgium (12th June marked one year) invited a group of artists to participate in coming up with solutions to the situation.
