Great video sister,
Muslim women are treated like queens, Islam has given them rights that no other religion has ever offered. They are the foundation of every Muslim home.

Salaam alaykum sis :-)
Jazak Allah khair for the video. All very true, let's hope that ppl who say that we're oppressed will see this, and realise that we're not. Time n time again we are explaining ourselves, saying we're not oppresses(although a small minority of Muslims maybe, but that is not from Islam, - it is cultural!) Some ppl though, keep up the media myth that we are oppressed, just so that they can feel liberated themselves! when they know that they aren't.

A book can certainly brainwash someone. If a book tells someone what is objectively true, and eternally true, it can target people's fears and offer them protection from those fears. That is what religious books do.

do u speak our of fear n pride or out of love?

dawud whansby ali, bismillah,
sorry it hasn't shown on my account that any coments were made just checking them now

hijab was introduced for the sake of keeping modesty which was also ordered to the christinas by jesus and also the jews were ordered this, there are different ways to wear the hijab some cover their faces some dont some wear jibab some loose fitting clothes, there r loads of different ways to wear the head scalf so i don't think it really matters where a muslim lives as each woman has her own style, i dont cover my ace though i would like to, i know all about the twarik very good ppl.

What if the Kaaba and Muhammad's family the Quraysh - keepers of the Kaaba for 700 years before Islam - were all located at the North Pole - then Islamic women would be sporting fur hats and animal skin coats as modest dress.
The Islamic dress is regional - and best suited for the hot desert sun (the black is new - only the rich could have afforded it in 630 AD) Nomadic men still cover (veil) their mouths in the Arabian and Sahara Deserts to keep the sand out!

so yeah get your facts right first b4 u talk or u will look very stupid it wasn't nigeria and the christians actually govern the country and it is sudan and chad that have this problem so u must be very very bad at geography because they r all completely different countries yet u quote it to try to show sharia as being bad lol u just make your self look bad in sudan there is no sharia law neither is it in most other countries just nigeria and saudi the others r colture not sharia
-
n sorry but my children r far better looked after than most non muslim children who r second to money and drinking and partying who r being brainwashed to do this just as i was so dot feel sorry for my kids they r happy and have a happy future it is your children who will sufer from how you raise them who maybe will find their mum dead from alcohol abuse or who you will find dead in a ditch somewhere from alcohol abuse or maybe get raped from how you teach them to dress no it wasn't nigeria

1st i have not been brainwashed as explained i couldn't have been as there was no influence from other ppl, i have other videos on here about the teddy bear fiasco so please dont blame all muslims for a minute few who are blind following, if mmy children leave islam i will be disappionted i wouldn't be a good muslim if i wasnt but as it says in the qur'an leave them as they may one day return to islam and it is up to god as to who stays and who leaves who comes n who goes
-
I feel sorry for your children, being raised muslim. When they get older are you going to give them a choice, let them explore other religions and decide for themselves or will thay be killed as apostates if they leave islam? You are deluded if you think islam is from God. Nigeria, isnt that where Christians are persacuted daily? And isnt that where the muslims wanted to behead a school teacher for letting her students name a teddy bear muhammad? You've been brainwashed into the cult of islam.
-
just because ppl r muslim doesn't mean they follow islam, just because they say they do doesn't mean they do, look at nigeria,it has both sharia law and christian law giving everyone the right to go to which court they want, all of them go to the sharia court including christians because they see it as being more efficient and fair they follow the sharia strictly unlike the taliban who follow culture and pass it off as sharia read the hadeeth to work out the true meaning
-
If you think Islam is not an oppressive religion, why do islamic states treat apostates of Islam so badly?
-
if they dont listen to the sheikhs in mecca and medina or any good scholars how am i suposed to make them i am not talking about the middle east i am talking about my rights here and i am not getting those rights i am being oppressed here and what i am doing is trying to better the understanding towards muslims here and trying to better our lives sharia law in north africa is working well because they r abidding strictly to the sharia instead of following culture
-
do you think i am blind to what goes on???
the ppl who r doing this r not following islam/ sunnah, i am sunni muslim, i have seen shariah law properly done in nigeria where the ppl have a choice between christian law and shariah and all are going to shariah and has proven to be efective wife beeting has dropped drematically so has drug and alcohol abuse i know what is happening in the middle east but this is done by ppl who dont follow the islam which i follow and dont listen to the sheikhs.

Then I'm glad to hear such comforting words. I'm glad you were never exposed to that side of the world. But I urge you to read about or inform yourself about the oppresion of women in the Middle East. Once again sister I am not preaching a religious agenda, but alot needs to be done in that part of the world in regards to women's basic human rights and dignity as human beings. The world turns a blind eye to it, when will a prominent leader of the Muslim Community stand up and say STOP!

i only ever visited united states once n that was b4 i was muslim when i was 14, i am actually british i have been all over the world and lived in algeria for quite a long time, im soon to go back actually, i found nothing of the sort of beatings and was very comfortable living there hence me raising my children there both daughters
-
Sister you are obviously writing that comment from the comfort of the Unites States. I spend 13 months in the Middle East, I have never seen such oppresion of women in my life. Worst of all the scum of men would then justify their wife beatings with scripture from the Koran, it's permissible by Islam. I'm not preaching from a religious platform, all I'm saying is your view of women's equality in the Arab World would be met with a severe beating, sorry sister, that's not opinion that is FACT

salamo alaykoum wa rahmatou ALLAH ,
good deeds sisters , don't stop , you are in the right way . ALLAH guide you and all , more and more , juste say tank you , alhamdouliALLAH .

May Allah bless you sister
sure...y not. do what u want. I'm not saying anything. But if muslims try to tell other muslims to wear or do what they deem right than i think it's injustice.
If i choose to not wear hijab, that's my choice. I never wear make up or dress inappropriately.
I never consider tat every man's gaze or eye contact to me as being of a sexual nature. It's just a freaking normak HUMAN being contact. Can we not think 2 far ahead??Who's caring about what ppl are saying now?

i am saying from the islamic point of view which says that woman must cover if you dont thats your choice but then let me ask if you are muslim then you belive in islam if you dont believe in islam the qur'an etc then you shudn't be muslim. simple just follow your religion if you dont believe thats fine no skin off my nose im not Allah and im not the judge.

hotmail2101 2 years ago
love love love, i respect myself my body my soul, i will say to you what i say to my parents if i left my husband i would stay a muslim, if HE left islam I WOULD LEAVE HIM.
loveislamictruth 2 years ago
@loveislamictruth You talk about respect, but show you dont respect your husband enough to allow him to THINK for or 'be' himself
what a pitifully shallow post showing how islam has ABSOLUTE CONTROL over you
why do you accept the degradation of enforced inequality and the FILTH your prick mohammed taught about women...you obviously have ZILCH self respect
proudfemale 1 year ago
@proudfemale i respect my husband a lot . i have a lot of self respect and don't need other ppl looking at me 2 make myself feel confident or better about myself i dont go out having sex with any thing which moves or doesn't as the case often is i know who the father of my children are none of them bastards and mohammed (saws) is better than any man alive before or after him and a slut like yourself should not speak about someone so good and pure
