Fareed sits down with author Michael Lewis to discuss the economic crisis. In his best-selling book "Liar's Poker," Lewis chronicles his days as a bond salesman at the investment bank Salomon Brothers, where the idea of the 'mortgage-backed security' was invented. Lewis talks to Fareed about the roots of the current crisis and the future of Wall Street.

  • Only telling a third of the truth and covering his hide in the process. Spill it out Lewis, Tell the Whole Truth. You'll be liberated and sleep much better at night.

  • @cepivon Michael Lewis is very perceptive, but he's also a huge Obama apologist. He loses a lot of credibility there.

  • @hemet92544 - the way you can tell if it is BS is they never mention the people who are sleeping in tents

as a result of the party wall street and their enablers, congress is having, and "O" was bought and paid for, if people had not been caught up in the myth, they would have really listened to what he was telling them on the campaign trail, he let it be known he as a war monger just like the rest, and we know" war is a racket" the purpose is profit.s.The

    nerve, a Noble peace prize?

  • its now 2011, and still no over hall, everything is still the same old same old

  • a "collaborative spirit"....pa...lease!! THAT is appalling, since it was OBAMA that left his campaign to PUSH the Banking Bailout bill. Yeh, we know who's side Michael Lewis' bread is buttered. Oh, no, we mustn't say too much bad about these powerful entities....no, no, no!!

  • It ALL comes back to people who have principled beliefs! Just like Ron Paul said once to me--we will have to elect politicians with more integrity. Boy, now that's a rarity in D.C. AND...the banks.
