You sound like you could be one day though. Bear in mind Giant were mid to late 20's when they recorded free hand.

very good, well played :-) I was waiting to see whether you'd done the studio or live version - it was quite refreshing to hear the studio cut done live, since most copy the 'Playing the Fool' version.

@duncanparsons we recently did One More Red Nightmare but a certain guitarist decided to hit the C# chord too early and much confusion ensued for two bars of 7/8 so I would rather not post it here...:/

This is amazing! Any band would struggle to play this song, especially this version, let alone with players so young. I think this version taken from the studio version rather than live is far more tricky than the live version. If you'd taken it just a tad slower it would have been a little tighter probably, but really it's a staggering achievement. Well done!

thank you. We only had 8 weeks to get everyone together and rehearse. We ended up playing almost exactly the same length as the record, but i have to agree with you on sloppiness. We are not yet musicians even close to Gentle Giant's league. Few are.
