What the hell was with Zogby's ad homimem attack on Dershowitz? The "defending guilty clients" line was low and had nothing to do with solving the problems between Israel and the Palestinians. Shame on you Mr. Zogby

@dex216sims His comment "defending a guilty client" is completely accurate. Mr. Dershowitz attempts to debate the conflict in a very arrogant defense lawyer like way. Blaming the victim is not a legitimate defense for intentional collective punishment of a peoples. His views are offensive and repulsive, and only take into account the suffering of Israel.

@fynsr I do not absolve Hamas and the other extremists Palestinian elements from any wrong doing. In fact I deplore them just the same. I fully understand the need for the Israeli government to protect it's citizens, but object to answering terrorism with more terrorism. I also object to the occupation, illegal settlements and oppression of the Palestinian people.

@fynsr I made no mention of the Western media, but rather the reports generated by nonpartisan Human Rights organizations, which you have obviously not read or disregarded since they don't suit your narrative. These reports also acknowledge the war crimes of Hamas and the suffering of Israelis, even though Israel refused to cooperate. Israel has bipartisan support in American political and media circles, but just out of curiosity...what would be the "liberal" medias "vested" interest?

@steute2011 OK there. You're clearly misinformed and are only seeing one side of the story. Go to the Israeli South and see how affected the population there is by the rockets that keep getting lobbed at them. Then, and only then, will you see the whole picture.

And by the way, Western news outlets are very left leaning AND HAVE A VESTED LIBERAL INTEREST IN SHOWING ISRAEL AS THE BAD GUY.

@fynsr If I were dumb enough to take the word of either side or absorb the propaganda from either side, then I would sound like you. Instead my opinions on this topic have been informed by the many independent HR reports that have been published, which you ought to try reading. These reports were generated by internationally recognized and respected organizations, whom are not associated with either side or have a vested interest in the conflict.

@EternalIntelligence Sure he is "correct"...and all the HR reports (Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, B'TSelem, International RedCross, Doctors without Borders, etc...) that say the opposite are wrong! You should try reading one or two of them, it might help you to form a more enlightened opinion. Newsflash...Dirtbagowitz considers himself a "progressive". He is nothing more than a glorified defense lawyer! An honest defense lawyer is an oxymoron.
