I got my Electron back in 1985. I still have it and works great... Zalaga was one of my favourites but it took ages to load (using the tape recorder).. Back then it was quality programmers, developers etc squezzing these great games in less than 32kb!!. today the its the opposite.. Stupid games using a couple of terrabytes and most of them promoting violence.

The Electron never came with 16K. It always had 32K on board.

32K of system memory? My electron only has 16k. You know a computer rocks when it takes 7 minutes to load Elite.

Electron was my first computer. Used to do a bit of programming in BASIC at school. I used to like the game, Ye ar kungfu, if thats how it was spelt.

YEAH! My first ever computer. Dad bought it for Mini Office, but could never get on the thing - I was always on there playing Sphinx Adventure, Boxer, Felix in the Factory, Jet Power Jack, Positron, Twin Kingdom Valley..... the list goes on adn on.
Oh and Combat Lynx was shit.

errr ... because its a copy with a different name.
Why is it being played on a BBC Micro? The Electron doesn't sound like that! Try running it on ElectrEm...

ElectrEm doesn't work on my PC. ElectrEm just hangs when you get to the instructions page in Zalaga, ElectrEm is still running, you can change prefs etc. but the emu dies. I'll wait 'til a decent emu comes out for the Elk or BeebEm adds that feature.
