Mcarthy was an alcoholic bully and a fake patriot, a man who pissed all over America's founding principles while pretending to be their champion, a man intelligent enough to know that intellectualism and liberalism were not synonymous with Stalinism but shameless enough to pretend otherwise, simply for political advantage. In other words, he was Fox incarnate before Fox even existed.

I have never seen a poorer understanding of Senator McCarthy in my life. Unless I look at the other one million examples of it. Let's face it Smooth, you know what McCarthy looks like in photos and you can pronounce "McCarthy". Beyond that you know shit. Or at least the rest could be your gotnosensitive friends who agree with your shapeshifting portrayal of a great American of the past.
