  • Wrong! Bad tree huggers. Peak Oil is a myth. The planet is constantly making oil just like it makes other resources. The Earth will run out of environmental wackos before it runs out of oil.

  • Peak Oil does exist, you cannot logically deny it. It is a non-renewable resource. So it will run out, each oil well will have it's own bell curve on it's production.

    Now is the world at a point where oil is rare so the price should be high. That is unknown (at least to the public, oil companies know though). I do not doubt that oil industry does similar things that the diamond industry for prices.

    But we must find better methods for energy, renewable & cleaner.
