@doom696mented Too fast to be traditional doom? Witchfinder General along with others is commonly associated with being one of the first Doom Metal bands! The fact that they were fast doesn't mean anything. Did Sabbath not have fast moments?

@aahlstrom93 No, it has nothing to do with that band. Witchfinder General were NWOBHM with a little touch of early black sabbath, but they were kinda fast to be traditional doom.

This is the definative EW line-up for me. When the drummer and bass player left and formed Rammesses (pretty damned good themselves and good live still not a patch on the Wizard's Sleeve though) it started to go downhill. Witchcult Today was a somewhat return to form but still everything upto and including Dopethrone is superb with Dopethrone being the pinnacle

@nekromachine I think that Dopethrone & Come My Fanatics are their 2 best albums. I like Ramesses, but I'd much rather see the old EW lineup.

@215day Someone made a great video to go with this song but it only lasted 8 minutes. I'd never be able to improve such a good video, so my only goal in making this video was to let the song run as long as possible, and improve on the sound quality. The other video was awesome though, it had scenes from a witch-hunter movie that fits this song perfectly.
