Walking through one's fears is an internal quest for growth in the spirit! Imagine one's fears as a movie set house! A VERY large house! The analogous fear/house is only in one's mind! But the COURAGE to overcome is an individual walk that no one can do, except that person! Just meditate to gain the faith and courage, then walk up to your fear/house and walk through the door! THEN one will find that the house was just an illusion in one's mind! The "house" has no reality once the door is open!

Oh, my mom told me how they made her run every single day and how much she hated it. I always told her I would have liked to experience education in Nigeria, but that I understood that they wanted me to stay here.

@c00lwatter I didn't know you were Nigerian. I've never met anyone who said they would've wanted to go to school there. It's a very good learning experience. You can still do your Youth Service there, which is a program for young adults who are joining the workforce in Nigeria. It's run by the military, but it's much worse than a typical boarding school. Honestly, I would never do it but my brother has. Look into it, though.
