Speaking of dark brown, thick substances, how have you not done Marmite/Vegemite yet. (Alternatively, Bovril, made of beef extract, not yeast, but just as strong tasting).

@danieldelaney pancake i like whit rasberry jam usualy or maple syrup.. i put some jam in the dough to sweeten it.. the dough end up pink trough
