Kosovo on the brink of independence

Speaking from Pristina on Saturday, Kosovan Prime Minister Hashim Tachi announced he will be declaring independence within a week. But not everyone living in the province of Kosovo is enthusiastic about the forthcoming declaration of independence.


To understand the real situation of Kosovo, it's best to get out of the capital city Pristina. During the Kosovo war of 1999 all the infrastructure in this area was destroyed by the Nato bombardment until today nothing's been rebuilt. The Albanians blame the Serbs for the situation and the Serbs blame the Albanians and NATO.
