I created this mission using a hex editor, the Goldeneye Setup Editor, and a lot of patience as well as help from Subdrag (the editor's creator) and Wreck. This Mission has been out for a while, I figured I'd finally make a walkthrough video. http://goldeneyehacks.com

  • the level really lag on me then when i get out of the basement my emulater stops

any ideas to make it run smooth bmw?

  • That depends on how fast your computer is and what emulator you're using. Also, did you make sure to apply the rom settings changes that are necessary after applying the patch? (CPU core style, advanced block linking, counter factor, etc) If you don't make those changes it can lag really badly.

  • well i tried to get to the rom settings page and it's blocked how do i get it to unblock

(ive already did show hidden options)

  • hmmm I don't know then - if hidden options are shown, I don't know why it would be blocked. But make sure you opened your rom - the settings will be greyed out unless you actually have the game open.

  • What do you use to recored this?

  • I use Showshifter recording to wmv8, 640x480 format. I have a tuner card and my video card has an s-video out - I directly route the s-video out on my video card to the s-video in on my tuner card. I record sound by setting the sound device to Stereo Mix. I basically record exactly what is going on on my monitor and sound card.

  • Rocket of the gard HAHAHA !

  • nice videos game

  • I was watching this without reading the description thinking this wasn't in the original game!!!

  • WOW i whats this mission ??

  • I just played this, it is a very, very nice mission. Wonderful work on it. Though turning off the weapon alarms would've taken me forever to find had it not been for this guide.. Anyways, wonderful work, and man, I was SCARED at the end of this, I didn't know if a security camera would sound the alarm, which computers were okay to use, if the nukes would explode, or if those rocket launcher guys would murder me. That sense of urgency is something I haven't felt from Goldeneye since Aztec.

  • Oh, the nostalgia.

  • Wow, this level is AMAZING!!! :D

I'd like to see someone try to speed run it....that'd probably be extremely difficult since you'd have to rely on stealth here in order to stay alive. And then those guys with the Rocket Launchers... o_o

  • omg!i used to play this game all the time, i cant remember if you could pistol whip

  • lol

  • I know that they have one for emulaters on computers anyway, but wouldnt it be awesome if they made an official remake (almost the same) of goldeneye and officially released it for the computer fullscreen and all that with better graphics and massive multiplayer lobbies? I WOULD BUY THAT SOOOOO BAD!!!!!!
