Toyota AMA Arenacross in Kansas City, January 2008

Professional racer Dennis Jonon was back in his old stomping ground, as the Toyota AMA Arenacross Series marched into the Kemper Arena in Kansas City for the first event of the New Year.

With the support of the home crowd, Jonon fought back from behind on his Team GPS Racing Honda with a late charge, finishing second in the Toyota AMA Arenacross Lites South Main Event. Travis Bannister was the winner aboard his Race Day Performance Honda.

In the Toyota AMA Arenacross class, Honda's Teddy Maier took advantage of the bobble by the Toyota Holeshot winner Nathan Skaggs to win the night's main event.
