Yup, a centrist speech. I prefer more liberal policies, but like he said, we're in an emergency here, and I reluctantly agree that the center is a good idea on economic issues. For sure the Republicans can't seriously call him a socialist anymore, especially since their response was nearly word for word what Obama had just said. Their response repeated the same ideas, yet somehow the tone made it sound like a disagreement. Weird, that.
