Hmmm. I recently had my brother de-friend me on Facebook and I'm not sure why. It hurt my feelings and I emailed him about it but no response. I suspected it might be bc I'm friends with another brother's ex and he doesn't want ANY ties to her anymore for family reasons. Even when you de-friend your ex, you might be able to see what YOUR friends (also friends of the Ex) are posting. It's a slippery slope. You are wise to detach fully.

@PBottomPoochies hey there....girl I am don't plan on looking @ my ex's fb I don't want to know anything that is going on with him and his new life! It's over so I say let it go! Facebook is fun, but at the same time it can be hurtful. I hope your brother comes around and tells u why he de-friended you and you guys work past it, cuz family is so much bigger than FB....smooches

that is why my schizophrenic paranoid self don"t do facebook I have done some mean stuff in my life(lol) Now what she need to do is a  facebook flip the script on him --- never let a chick see you sweat . what choose not to know wont hurt me now!

I feel it can b a breeding ground for infidelity, however if the guy is goin to take the bait, thats on him.... Me personally i went through the same situation recently. My bf gt a FB page and initially he was just tlking with old high school friends, it went from old friends, to old girl friends. From there to new females he would meet at the club n he started requesting them as friends; Needless to say we are no longer together but i feel FB, myspace, twitter all of it is what you make it.

@saysay81 it's just too much foolishness on FB these days. true dat, it is what you make it, unfortnately alot of folks making it "cheatersville"........LOL sorry about your breakup! u deserve better!

Wooo! This is a biiiig topic right here and hits close to home. My husband had his cousin and close friend find out that their wives were cheating via facebook. The cousin was away in the Middle East and the wife hooked up with a former bf.They are now divirced. The close friend found a VERY explicit chat that left no doubt that his wife was messing with a guy as recently as the weekend he read it. They are still together but THAT is a whole nother topic. Great topic!
