i couldn't agree with you more. in my opinion, it was MUCH better than the dennis waterman ones. i liked the ray daley ones as well. because of ppl slagging it off, it has now been axed. i loved this one, it needs a new series. please chanell 5, i am begging you to make another series. pleeeease.........

Tried to give this New Minder a chance the other night. Would be much better without Shane Richie in it acting like a cockney chav tosser. Didn't bother watching to the end because of this.
Feel sorry for the others who worked hard on this show. Dump Richie and get someone else.

I've slagged the show off because I DID watch it...it was crap. As for giving it a chance...the series does not care whether ppl did not enjoy the first episode, if the first episode is poor, then the fifth is likely to be as poor.
You don't keep eating a meal that tastes bad hoping it will improve. You just stop eating it. There's a difference between "growers" & non starters. This is a non starter.

I enjoyed it and am a big fan of Minder and it's one of my all time favourite programmes. All you people slagging this off are people that have made up their own minds without even giving it a go or even watching it. I thought they made a good team and has potential, if the public let it and give it more of a chance!.
