@asecretninja :
I'm not sure what your comment is directed at, but Handmaster Plus is not only directed towards the fear of developing CTS and other RSI injuries & conditions. It is also used to maximize performance and maintain proper blood flow to the tissues and joint surfaces of the hands, wrists & elbows. BTW, these RSI problems usually don't show themselves immediately, but when thdo they can be chronic and debilitating.

So if the back of my hand started to hurt when I started to playing guitar faster, that's carpal tunnel syndrome? And will this Hand Master Plus take the pain away completely? Thanks!

@punkangle399 : Carpal tunnel syndrome is indicated by median nerve compression at the carpal tunnel (the front of the wrist) causing pain and or weakness and numbness to the thumb and 3 1/2 fingers beside the thumb. What you may be experiencing is tendonitis because when you play fast the muscles at the back of the wrist have to stabilize and can be put at stress. Hard to tell without examining, but not CTS symptoms.

thank you for the video i at least know i dont have carpaunnel syndrome, i can move my fingers and stuff without pain and i have no pain in my neck. i think its safe to say i just need to give my hand a rest.

@Pjake7 : To be clear, carpal tunnel syndrome has nothing to do with the neck. The video comments that the median nerve path (the nerve involved in carpal tunnel) can be affected at the neck. Carpal tunnel syndrome occurs at the wrist (carpal tunnel pressure) and can display all or some of the following symptoms: Weakness, numbness & pain in the hand. The pattern of numbness or paresthesia helps in the diagnosis. The final diagnosis can only be confirmed by nerve conduction testing.
