I'm surprised tho, that they put Selania saying hell twice in the movie, even if it was eventually cut out. The book didn't even have that!

Try to get any of the international releases. All have the full english version.
Only the region 1 release by the Weinstein Company is cut.

With all the deleted scenes, the film is 15min. shorter! WTF!?!??!?

yes, apart form these scenes, there are a los of small cuts, and bits of dialogue erased. No wonder the critics hate it!!!

Ugh, again with the religion.
It's not an atheist speaking here. I had a problem when they said "And thank GOD!!" in Ratatuille, I mean, come on, just cause you writers can write anything you desire doesnt mean you can give something a concept of religion, unless of course you make it feasible, which it never is.
Religion is strictly a Human ideal, Rats are animals, minimoys are tiny made up creatures, it's like asking an alien who they bet on to win the cincinati Tennis Masters.

In the book the autor makes them have some kind of naturalistic religion that believes in gods, but since it is a kids book, it never elaborates on that, instead they uses everyday phrases like "going to hell".
But.. since currently we only can ask humans, we cannot be shure is religion is strictly human.
