Emmylou Harris and the Red Dirt Boys perform the Billy Joe Shaver song "Old Five and Dimers" live from the Hammersmith Apollo on 14 Sep 2008. This is the song that gave Emmylou the title for her current CD "All I Intened To Be" it being the last line. This was filmed from the upper circle so there is plenty of zoom shake, please vote and comment, thanks Ally.

Hhhmmm.....was really glad to see Emmy dip back into the '70's "outlaw country" well for this song for the new record, but this arrangement is just draggy and morose, I was hoping the live version would be a bit mo' perky, but it's not....Usually when Emmylou covers a song, it blows all the other versions away, but on this one I still have to go with the older Jerry Jeff and Willie Nelson takes.
