The writers and Michael Bay talk about a sequel in this hidden featurette on the blu-ray version of Revenge of the fallen, while showing a bunch of photos of Unicron.
Don't think he'll be in T3, they fucked the scale up in the cartoon just to make him display properly, it's not something they could get away with as easily in CG
it would be kinda difficult to do him in 3, cause if you seen the making of on the 2 disc dvd, the computers crashed and fried when they were making Devastator due to his immense size and scope and since Unicron is much bigger, it would take a damn supercomputer to do him, unless they find a simpler way to do him like making him a littler smaller like moon sized.
Yeah, they're living beings, it's just they're mechanical instead of organic. They all have souls (Sparks) and everything that are part of their god (Primus (Unicron's brother)). Some cyber-ninjas can even use telekenisis as seen in Transformers Animated.
Good god of cybertron... if BOTH Unicron AND Primus were in it... I would worship that movie for all time... but, who would win that battle... I say Primus because he had more fire power, but Unicron does have that giant cannon on his chest... Any bets on the victor of that battle???
