  • i am Muslim and i believe in a designer behind creation evolving. we cannot continue to ignore the laws of nature.

  • If you see the life of this "Darwin" you'll find out that he was just against christianism so he had to spread out some BS theory so people would stop believing in their own religion... simple as that

  • darwinism is just a theory, even nowadasy scientifics are refuting it and questioning it so pleahseeeee

  • @pacblues I don't think anyone can argue with the concept of adaptation/mutation of a species to its environment. But the idea that a fish can develop/evolve into another species i.e a bird/pteradactyl is totally without proof and cannot be put forward as fact.

If that were the case, I'd have to believe in the Abominable Snowman!!!!

  • @pacblues "to be forgiven" for something in the context I used it is a turn of phrase, not an indictment, lol.

Sorry but the evidence is not clear and there are even arguements to refute the idea altogether.

In Darwinisms theory he comes a cropper when somewhere in the evolution of man there is a massive gap in development. This is called "the missing link".

  • @Saracen187 i don't think so. the evidence is very clear. by the way, forgiven for what? i didn't kill any body. i didn't break any law. i didn't steal anything from anybody. am i doing a crime just for understanding evolution?

  • @ProteinShaykh I think the link between evolution and the big bang are loose at best. Darwin' s concepts did not address how life was started on Earth, but how life goes through changes. The big bang and creation are about an initial cause of matter. But I can see how many folks like the two as part of a very long timeline from a big bang to our current state. And don't forget that many Christians do not accept the notion of a god's creation of humans through evolution.

  • Darwinism disproves the original ideas and interpretations of religion when you look at the origins of the species on the planet today having definable ancestry going back to before what was supposed creation of earth.

People of religion have since been attempting to shift the origin back to include the big bang but this is another bastardization of a religion that attempts to remake itself to remain reliant.

Belief clouds judgment regardless if it is a belief in religion or of anything else.

  • Will someone PLEASE oil that damn door's hinges?

  • @matthewtaylorbrown you are right. Evolution does little to disprove the existence of God. It still aligns perfectly with the design argument (design in evolution - not random stages of evolution).
