India's air power just 1/3rd of China: IAF chief

Gandhinagar: The Air Chief Marshal PV Naik on Wednesday admitted that India was no match to China when it came to air power. "Our present aircraft strength is inadequate. Aircraft strength is one third that of China. The Government of India is doing a lot to augment Air Force capability," Naik said.

The Chinese Air force has over 700 mig 19 & mig 21, less than 500 ,if not 400 PLAAF fighters aircraft is consider top of the line.the rest such F-8,f-7 were consider obsolete.

The Mig 29 and the SU30MKI take out most off the above, so wipe that smile off your face you must be from the Terrorist Republic off Pakistan..

for ur info, u know y a country should develop its own jets. simple, the jets which comes to market r out dated. u can by US F15,18,35 but US sells these planes only when they know they have developed a better one. so u cant go to fight with them, coz they will have better jets. china develops its own jets n upto date.

IAF CHIEF, not only in numbers, but even technology wise india is well bellow china. the reason is india buys MIG's from Israel. Israel will sell only outdated technology to foreign countries. The latest ones will be in black project. where as CHINA MAKE ITS OWN PLANES N HAVE UPTO DATE TECHNOLOGY.
