The twelve days of gleemas Ep. 2

Rachel's POV:
Puck: Sausage casserole?
I sigh, dishing up the spoons of steaming liquid into the mismatched bowls I found in the school kitchen, Quinn smiles next to me, holding the large silver pot
Rachel: Yes Noah, it was in the kitchen
Finn: Don't worry Rachel, it tastes awesome
He smiles at me and I smile back, me and Quinn dump the leftover bowls and the pot onto the table, I take a seat next to Finn and tuck in, it tastes kind of weird because it was all I could find in the cupboards but it's warm and it's food so I'm content
Blaine: This tastes good Rachel
Santana: No. It doesn't.
Mr Shu: Hey, no need to be rude Santana
Santana: Just saying, it tastes like raw zombie meat dipped in Finn's spunk...
Finn: Hey!
Santana: Just keeping it real
Mr Shu: Ok! Finish up here guys... you need to get some sleep!
Blaine: Oh come on Mr Shu, it's only ten...
Mr Shu: Yes and you've been very busy today, you need some rest
Mike: I wouldn't mind an early night...
Mr Shu: Exactly! That's the attitude we need in here! Has anyone been able to contact their parents?
Sam: No... I think the signal must be down here
Mercedes: The snow blocks the messages
Mr Shu: Ok now guys... bed!
Puck: Where?
Mr Shu: Good point...
He gets to his feet, making his way over to the gym mats, he pulls them down, one by one, piling them up on the floor, once they're all out he makes his way out of the room, we all exchange bemused glances and begin to murmur quietly, he comes back in with an bundle of blankets taken from the needlework room, he throws them down next to the mats and then disappears again, returning with some pillows, once again... from the needle workroom
Mr Shu: Ok, take a mat, a blanket and a pillow each, spread out around the room but stay in the gymnasium, I don't think it's clever to separate from here...
???: Can anyone help me?
I turn around, and I can see a girl stood in the doorway to the gym, she looks like a sophomore, she's got long brown hair and sparkling eyes, she wears a bright patterned dress, she looks around at us, standing with her hands on her hips, and she doesn't seem at all shy
Mr Shu: Uhh... sorry... who are you?
???: My name's Lindsay, I'm on exchange here from California. I was just rehearsing in the auditorium, when I tried to leave, I figured we're snowed in
Mr Shu: Yeah, ok Lindsay, why don't you grab a mat, a blanket and a pillow and come and join us!
Lindsay: Uhh... I can't sleep on those mats... allergies
She tilts her head momentarily, smiling a sugar sweet smile. I frown, she reminds me too much of me as a sophomore, thinking I was better than everyone else, I didn't have any friends before glee club
Mr Shu: Right... well... uhh...
She makes her way over to us, standing between Finn and Puck, she smiles at them, running her fingers up Finns arm, and she winks at Puck, I take Finn's hand protectively
Lindsay: Maybe you two big strong boys could bring a couch in from Figgins office?
Mr Shu: Lindsay I'm really not sure that's appropriate
Lindsay: It's ok, you don't mind, do you boys?
She smiles her sugar sweet smile, I roll my eyes, she makes me want to vomit all over her printed dress
Finn: Actually I'm going to help Rachel set up her bed, maybe you could get Sam to help you?
Lindsay: Which one's Sam?
Finn points over to him, and Lindsay smiles, placing her hands on her hips
Lindsay: Perfect, come on Blondie, you can help me too
She turns on her heels and strides out of the door towards Figgins office, Puck and Sam shrug, but trail after her, once she's out of ear shot Santana bursts out laughing
Santana: What is her deal! She's like a mini Rachel! Are you sure she's not your sister?
I sigh, rolling my eyes, because I'm not quite sure what to make of this Lindsay character...
