The fact is, most people find it difficult to follow Christ because of how His followers represent Him.
May we who claim His name follow Him with our whole lives in love and truth.

  • Im a Christian and this little one minute video hit me harder than a dozen sermons. Wow I feel guilty.

  • Want to be more like Jesus... then get off your butts and get out into there and be examples of Gods love to the world. We continualy say the world is close minded to the love of God.... that may be... but I believe christians who think they're holier than thou are the problem today. What was it Jesus said... "He who is without sin cast the fist stone"... take the log out of your own eye before you accuse the world of the speck in their eyes; and love the world as Jesus loves them!!!

  • @Sgt179 I have known many Christians that do this and I am one who tries not to but yes I slip and fall

  • @Sgt179 My favorite "No true Scotsman" argument. :D

  • it took me years to get my head around the fact that as a christian, it's okay to battle sin...it's okay to not be perfect. The problem is when christians pretend to be perfect and they are SO not. That's not a Christian's job. Our job is not to act perfect, but to show love to people and live our lives striving to be the best we can be. If we fall, just accept it and get back up again. And MOST IMPORTANTLY, as christians we've GOT to get our lives together before we go and try to change others.

  • yeah. im christian, and i dont live my faith perfectly. but i know that a tru christian doesnt act the way you are depicting them. i bet they never even met a christian before.

  • @MarkusThe5th I agree with you. We should do our best to be a light in this world. What my posts where giving light to was the fact that there are a lot of false followers of the Messiah Jesus out there. The good advice i was giving seekers is to first assess the Message of Jesus before making any assessment of Christians. It's also advice i would give to new Christians. Don't make a pastor preacher or pope your Messiah. Do not be a follower of men. Be prepared to stand-alone with God.

  • Im a christian, I too had very serious concerns about finding the right church for mainly every point that this video raised. I found the right church with no problem. But these issues do exsist and they shouldnt. Now what I would say to those who have this negative outlook on christians, dont think that every church, every christian is a self righteous pompous goon. We are all human prone to the same negative life styles. But all of us are called to higher callings. Its about you and christ :)

  • @MarkusThe5th You learn about Jesus life because it is his life and message not that rude, arrogant, selfish person who declares themselves to be a follower of Jesus. Yes it is good for Christians to be shining examples of caring and generosity, But in this world where most are fakes relying on others to be shining examples before you will even consider the message of Jesus puts you at the mercy of other people. Our faith should be about what we think of Jesus not what we think of Christians.
