@Axis82 yup, 3 way active crossover but the passive crossover in the top speaker indeed makes it a 4 way system!

Can you use this same set up for 2 bass cabs, 2 mids, and 2 tops? But with 3 amps instead of 2. You would need them mono right?

@orky2001 The size of the drive = more surface area. The bigger the surface area, the easier it is for the speaker to play really low frequencies.

why go from one amp through the cross over to another? is the first amp not powerfull enough?
