Introduction to Kids Unite to Fight

We, at C.O.L.E.'s Foundation, are excited about getting students involved in childhood cancer awareness. More importantly, they will be digging into their own hearts to realize that throughout life, we have choices to make, and they can make a difference.

C.O.L.E.'s (Caring Openly, Loving Eternally) Foundation was founded in September, 2008, in memory of a 3-year-old boy, Cole, who lost his battle to a rare, aggressive form of cancer called Adreno Cortical Carcinoma. The mission of C.O.L.E.'s Foundation is to create public awareness regarding children with cancer, provide outreach, support, and encouragement to their families, and advocate for research to find a cure. The program, "Kids Unite to Fight," is one way in which we can do this.

Every school day, 46 more children will be diagnosed with cancer. Our goal with "Kids Unite to Fight" is to offer these children some smiles and hope by receiving letters of encouragement from children their own age. This project is so much more than just a project for the kids in the hospital. It's a project that can transform the lives of the next generation by simply helping them look beyond themselves.

With your help, we are brightening the lives of children afflicted with cancer while instilling a sense of community in all our children.
