This a Chas 'n' Dave song I like so I decided to try it out with my new "Brueko Special" Tenor Ukulele. This uke has a rosewood body with a Bearclaw Spruce top. The sound is quite different to what I'm used to. Recording with a mobile phone doesn't quite give the true sound though.

  • Excellent that..

  • A fantastic version. I love your voice and playing. I'm working on a cover of this song myself as I haven't heard any women sing it, and it's such a pleasure to sing and play the song. I have never met a single person that dislikes this song, it's a real gem.

  • It's not often that I write comments to videos on youtube, I'm more the kind of person who uses this place to watch videos rather than participate with the online community.

Anyway, I just had to say that this sounds absolutely fantastic! I think you've really put your own stamp on this song and it works really well for it. Have you considered doing some high quality recordings?

  • haha nice one mate really enjoyed that. well done lad!
