@1freak1015 it does because with 32bit ur windows can only use upto 3.5gb ram
but with 64 bit windows, ur pc can run the ram to max

@FlawlessHitz as the guy said, if you have windows vista home premium, you'll have to upgrade to windows 7 home premium, same goes with the others, home basic to windows 7 home basic, and so on. BUT if you have say, vista home basic and you want to upgrade to windows ultimate, you'll have to clear everything you have and start again
which is why you have to transfer the files you wish to keep to a hard drive you can get at shops, then upgrading it, then transfer the files back to your PC

@HardikG121 some websites let you download the software to your computer then extract it, then pop it onto a cd rom, then you can install from the cd rom
