Synergy N9 Turbine "T9"

Powered by a Wren MW44, Dual tanks, UAT Header, Futaba BLS 253 cylclics, BLS251 Tail with Futaba GY520, Flightech 8A regulator, high speed futaba FAAST rx. Run time is apporx 9.5 minutes on 1.2litres of jet A1 with 5% Aeroshell 500 oil.

This was only the second flight, checking for temperatures around the wiring areas, making sure it tracks straight and true, and generally gaining confidence in the model and engine.

The wren turbine starts first time, every time, the sound is amazing, the power is amazing, the presence is huge!

More to come now its finalised with a change in gear ratio to allow the engine to be wound up to its max of 190k rpm, and the modified canopy will be fitted shortly.
