largely speaking, creative commons is not ALL copyleft. Only share-alike is copyleft!

One can generalise GPL, cc, under free culture. But GPL/copyleft is much restricted in definition, and should be so to maintain the important distinction

Copyleft is GPL not Creative Commons

Copyleft is the general wording for a new movement other then Copyright. Creative Commons and GPL (wikipedia) are possibilities within Copyleft-theory!
