You are white, middle-class. I would guess that you went to college to some degree. So, you would think this way. If you look at the average student in the US (I am a US teacher), they are in a ok situation with no need (as you say) for improvement on what you are already doing. Life is good and there is no reason to excel in life. If your teachers are only teaching you what has already been taught and nothing new or how to find the answer yourself. Somehow, we have been robbing you.

I can't read half the comments because I've not got my glasses on, but I think your videos are really interesting and different. I respect your attempts at trying to raise the profile of issues you obviously feel strong about, I'm convinced you were born in the wrong era though. You should have being this age in the 60's/70's I'm sure.

also the whole thing with replication of carbon atoms in a specific way gives you carbon nanotubes. the properties of those are impressive to say the least.

the replication stuff is mint though. lets say onlywhenprovoked wants a nice new pair of boots. he is going to be able to design them exactly how he wants then to look. then a replicator builds it layer by layer. its kinda like playing with legos. a key to this is to be able to understand how matter works on the smallest of scales. they use that info to build machines on the smallest of scales. and those machines will only deal with the atoms that they are supposed to interact with.

ok here is the skippy on those things. they exist. shapeshifting happens all the time arround us. maybe we are becoming too familiar with it.they have liquid metal that changes with sounds vibrations, it in my favs. nokia has a cell that changes shape and stretches.and they have these new things that can get into tight spaces and then grow after. and replication happens all the time too. like in fast foods and the internet. and thats the stuff we see. now the stuff we are not seeing is next.
Well there was an era when Americans and europeans are the smartest ... they were very mature and innovative .. but now things have started to change for India and China .... Now getting a job in good MNC is a status symbol, now our markets are filled with stuffs so people are working hard to earn money even if thats means long working hours and zero social life ... People of India are far left behind and it has become third world country ...

@yaanubhav if you are smart, you shouldn't beleive in make beleive things. Things like 3rd world countries. Or countries for that matter.

I don't think American's are 'stupid'. There are so many people from the US who I speak who have such a wide vocabulary and flawless grasp on the English language. Over here in England itself, we don't value the use of words to express ourselves correctly.
You know I received all my higher education FREE because I was taught in Scotland and the Scottish Education Authority actually pay all national student's college and university fees. Even in England you don't get this privilege.

you see this people! Sarah knows what is up. She is on the level. its soo refreshing to talk to someone that understands. I think one of the problems that comes up is we intentunaly use slang, and people get the idea that we dont know what the correct pronounciation of something is. but we do.. and also sometimes the people dont pick up on sarcasum, and take something literally.
