We were privileged to be asked by Microsoft to find a client and see what can be done with HTML5, in their latest browser Internet Explorer 9, which is very good at doing that kind of thing.

This is what we made; and the amazing thing about this is, that there is not a plugin in site. No Flash, not even Silverlight, no applications at all. This ENTIRELY HTML, CSS and Javascript.

If you're into that kind of thing, you can see the sheer craft behind this by simply going to the website and hitting 'view source'. It's at http://www.joydefinesthefuture.com/

This is also one of the three sites that Microsoft say you "have to see" after you download Internet Explorer 9; and it was featured in the launch events in London and San Francisco earlier this year.

You'll need a nice new browser like IE9, or even Chrome actually (shhhh).

Massive respect to Rob Brown, Matt Ratcliffe, Tom Hopkins & Rupert Jones who created it.

Soundtrack is courtesy of Jane at http://hearnoevil.tv/

Bring on the HTML5 enabled future.
