  • Nice lesson, thanks for posting - just an added suggestion from em (2nd fret A 2nd fret D strings) go to D6/9?(2nd fret bottom E 2nd fret D 2nd fret G strings) Just adds a little more I think.

    Great song to learn

  • @glh1956 Yeah. This is actually a sequel to my original tutorial, in which I actually do go to a D6/9. Thanks for the suggestion, though! (I just happen to already do that :D)

  • i get the up/down part but what do you mean by base?

  • @JJJinXXX What I meant was "Bass". As in like the bass note of each chord, which is consequently the lowest one. For example, on the very first chord, Em, an open "E" on the lowest string of your guitar is the bass note. I hope that clarifies things. Thanks!

  • @Akidnamedjoey LOL it sucks bein a newb :(

  • @JJJinXXX Haha that's fine. Don't worry about it. You'll get there. I've been playing guitar for about 5 years, but this was one of the first few songs I learned. It's all about having fun, so try not to get frustrated. I've found that sooner or later, playing any song is possible as long as you're determined.

  • Very Cool Joey... I learned a great deal from this and the prior vid... but you forgot the strum pattern for the chorus... what's that ? I'm a tad stuck there.... Thanks man... and you're a pretty cool kid.... I'll sub...

  • Nice Job, Best of the Tutorials on America. Would really like to hear what you could do with "Moondance" by Van Morrison. There are couple of demos on line but they don't show (Breakdown) the Chords and go way to fast. Keep up the good work! Thanks. Kw

  • please teacher, speak faster
