It's a great idea, and apparently (based on the claims of the KA) a great functioning weapon. It won't be adopted by the military though. Maybe some private security operators or police forces, but the US military's habits die hard.

I would like to know how heavy is the 6x35 round. Not the weight of the bullet the weight of the actual entire round. I know it is 10mm shorter then the 5.56x 45.

But I am interested in the logistics of how much of this ammo, for example would carry if he or she was carrying 10 kilos of ammo. I think the 5.56x 45 weighs about 12 gr.
