I agree with debbie here, when Walsh wants to (which is all too rarely) he still has a great deeper voice, not quite like the golden day of course (30+ years is a looong time ago) but when the songs worked then sung deeper why not still. Works like a charm on Ghosts.
Actually, I was listening to hear the difference with and without Steve Morse (an amazing guitarist who you can see on the new Kansas DVD), and Rich does as well as Steve ever did on this song.
I like Steve's voice on these deeper songs....his upper register has gotten weird, but bottom still sounds pretty good. I wonder why they did this non-hit song?? Hmmm....
Vocals and songs are always going to be faster than the recording during a live performance. Otherwise they'd never get through their song list for the concert in a reasonable time frame.
God, Rags is the man but his violin is SO out of tune in this pref :(
