  • Just out of interest what happened afterwards - did Jeff have to get back out of the water or were you able to sort the entanglement out and continue the dive?? - what was the dive anyway?

  • The support diver sorted him out, he got back on board and five minutes later jumped back in - the wreck was the Transylvania, north of Malin Head in 130 mts.

  • Well done to Jeff and the lads for completing 6 dives on the Carpathia last week!

  • No he wasn't injured, it was the 24" bolt cutters that got caught on the way out of the door!! Same bolt cutters also got snagged in netting at 130 mts! See the other film on youtube - Jeff Cornish Underwater Scootering Master Class

  • @welshrob1974 Why was he carrying bolt cutters?

  • @DeepSixed300 to cut the chains on the bridge telegraphs ;), which he did manage to do on his second attempt to enter the water!!

  • Great video!!

  • Every time I see this, I take something new from it. Like the muffled "oh shit" this time around. :)

  • you do know you but stage bottles on in the water riggght?

  • No wonder the Fish laugh at us!

  • i can haer it " fucking asshole "

  • Das ist der beste Beweis das man sich das können mit Geld nicht erkaufen kann :-D

  • you could just here that o fuck :)

  • It should never happen...seriously. On a calm day like this the bottles could be staged for underwater pickup vs. jumping in with all that stuff and any items that could snag on a railing should have been caught by the attendant and by the diver before trying to splash in. This is a good training video.
