@SorrowKX I wouldn't excatly call us cowardly. We hunt using guns, lions hunt in packs. Are Lions cowards because they don't hunt elephants alone? Each species has its own ways of hunting.

Do you expect us to just run up empty handed to a elephant and start gnawing on its leg?

Guns are our tools of hunting, each animal as a tool.

I don't know why people keep saying that an elephant will kill a lion with a stomp, lions are not dumb and they know that and know how to avoid it and attack. Elephants have been a source of food for lions and tigers for milenia.

@superelephant36 The Romans used Asian lions. Not African lions. And if the Romans were with the tiger so much, than why were the lions more symbolic to them than the tiger? On top of that, they spread Christanity. I've heard of Jesus The Lion, but never Jesus The Tiger.

@Oasisx99 lions do not have a stronger paw swipe, and are not longer, and just because the title says lion beats tiger doesnt mean thats what happened.

@Dattebayo04 yes but tigers are larger than lions. the world largest water buffalo lives in asia as well. The reticulated python is larger than a rock python. Africa does have larger elephants and rhinos though. I'm done argueing about this, ANIMALS SHOULD NOT FIGHT FOR OUR AMUSEMENT!!!!!!!! (like if you agree)

@superelephant36 Actually lions are longer, and they have stronger paw swipes. Tigers do have a 50kg weight advantage. Though I've seen vids where lion beat tigers in fight and reports that it did. But tigers also won. But as for the elephant, I admit that one lion couldn't beat one elephant. There just too damn big. I just like how these herds of elephants are running from them!=D

@Dattebayo04 there is not a huge difference in size between asian and african elephant. Do not call them "little and small" as they are the largest animal on earth. As by your comment signifies, you are not very informed on the subject and by your "lions are the best animal on earth' comment signifies you are obviously defending them because they are your favorite animal. Get your facts straight before you comment.

@Oasisx99 lions have that because they are the apex predator of there habitat, and have a crown-like mane, I do not deny their extraordinary strength but in a fight with an elephant, an animal used in war used like a modern-day tank and the largest land animal and one of the smarest animal on earth, it would certainly stand no chance. I tiger is a different and closer story, both are large but the tiger is larger and stronger, longer, and more agile and would win about 3/4 of the time in a fight

@superelephant36 Lions have the king of beast title. Neither the tiger or elephant has that.
