Yes, there are different barrack styles depending on the age of the building and where its located on base.

man I've seen videos of housing projects in Chicago which look nicer than the barracks! I am going to be a single soldier and I am not excited about living in the barracks to say the least. Only thing that comes to mind is theme from Good Times but hey now I'll know what Wu Tang was rapping about in all their rap songs

Third floor? Think about all the good PT you are going to get. LOL. My old barracks down in San Antonio had one thing you don't have. A ten foot tower and a 3 element yagi on the roof of the building. I am a Ham Radio Operator. My friends thought I was nuts!

I live in these barracks, they aren't the best , but they aren't the worst on fort hood. They are getting refurnished atm. Oh and these are 4th sustain BDE / 13th ESC barracks :/

Very Small single barracks? When i was there in 77 there was 3 men to a room and no closet. (where the walkin closet was another bed). There wasn't a brrezeway but a vestibul. Is the mess hall still to the right outside your steps?

Funniest time I ever had was 4th of July and we had rockect wars across the middle. The MPs were called but we ran thier asses out with bottle rockects. LOL

Dude this is identical to my old barraks, 6/4 was my old unit, whats ur unit.
