  • The salt pig is good and easy to get. My hammies are chubby little babies.

  • You are all mistaken. Here are a few facts you need to be aware of:

1: Hamsters live in the desert. As long as the sand isn't too fine, and this is filtered chinchilla sand, they will feel right at home.

2: The hamster doesn't live in this tray. This is just where I train and exercise him. He has a nice, wood shave layered cage where he spends most his time.

3: If you really want to understand hamsters join a local club and learn from professional breeders and not the internet.

  • chubby hamster... :3

  • Your are funny bro!

I just got two dwarf hamsters couple days ago and i'm about to go to the pet store and buy sand for them and a few toys :)

  • @Leanneldok21 Wood shavings are actually really healthy for hamster because they absorb bacteria unlike paper bedding. Also, small animals such as hamsters are known to eat their paper bedding which sticks to the walls of their little tummy's. whenthey drink water it swells up and can cause UTI's as well as GI tract infections. Not to mention they get constipated and dehydrated. Hamsters are from the dessert. They enjoy the sand.

  • @AnimeMangaDrawer OH Lolz sorry

  • @paolayclau they need that sand but not too fine!

  • u right! hamster do bath in the sand not in the water like most idiots do to the poor hamster.

  • @Isabelle101909 Dude...That's obviously not their normal cage. Chill.

  • Dont ever use dust use sand like in this video. And dont ever use shavings use dust free paper like carefresh. Thats if you dont want your hamster to suffer.
