This video is out take shots from a photo shoot for the Travel Channel series 'Dreaming Big': 'Extreme Boats'. The video was shot with my camera from the vessel that burned in Galveston Bay.

This was a very exciting time and the Travel Channel is the BEST.

The boat featured in this video is a CZ7 Hull #1 (Civilian Zodiac 7 meter) made by Zodiac of North America. This vessel is WAY COOL.

The photo shoot was taken in Galveston Bay just off of Red Bluff Point near the ship channel leading into the Port of Houston.

I will add credits in part 2....stay tuned.......

Peace

  • you need to take that boat on some lake erie waves, they would be great for jumpin

  • That would be a long way to travel with the trailer, but a good idea. Thanks for the comment.

  • that's the most awesome zodiac ever made! love it so much!

    Greetz Maarten from Belgium

  • I totally agree with you...Ya know I think they may have actually sold more of these across the pond than here in the US and I know at least one went to Russia.

    Peace

  • Do you work at the Travel Channel?

  • I wish....I love the Travel Channel and it would be so cool to get paid to travel and report on your travels. But alas I am just a boater through and through.

The producer saw one of the demo boats in Florida and wanted it in his program and I was the only owner of one at that time.

It is a kick azzzz, wave jump'n, slide'n across the water way fun boat.

    Peace

  • @CaptainWhatever4 hope that I can afford one in the future... would love to have one for having fun on the danube ^_^

  • Looks like it would be a badass yacht tender!!

  • 2 Evinrude 150hp outboard engines (says the homepage)

  • what kind of engine does that have

  • Is this the boat that I used to see kept at HYC?

  • 200.ooo USD $ ;)

  • Every Engine can Over-rev! A Mercury Verado in the same way like a Evinrude E-Tec 150...in this case the last one...but: you can cut the throttle and all is OK^^

  • at 1:03 the noice is very perfect when i listen this time i remember the subaru imprezza but i dont know why

  • Are the RPM's on those engines limited? What happens if you go full throttle and the boat jumps out of the water, can those engines over-rev?

  • Wow... not only the Zodiac, but what was the boat and motor setup of the Camera boat??? That thing had the flattest high speed wake behind it, I've ever seen behind a boat.

-Very cool, that the CZ could just pull right up to the stern, like that.
