Saw a pic recently and it looks pretty dark too. E-mail JHS and tell em to bring out a new range of VRS's. I have and got a reply saying they only do that kind of thing if enough people request it.

They're nice to look at those guitars, but 2 hundred quid i bought mine for, i thort i'd have the Ez locking tuners on and didn't. It sound great and plays pretty well considering the way it is, i cudn't be arsed with it any longer so i bought an old indie telecaster which is not in the same league but is alot better.

How are the necks on these? Insanely thin? Insanely thick? Moderate ground? please help me out I'm strongly considering buying one.

@meakmeakmeak - moderate to thick, C shape, actually REALLY comfortable and I was able to get a nice low action with very little fret buzz, if at all. Actually missing the VRS a bit these days...sold it on a while ago...might have to look out for another one. I'd recommend it. I got a PRS SE custom - much brighter and clearer sound-wise, but the VRS more than held its own at 1/4 of the price of the PRS...so that went as well!!! Ah, guitaraholicism!! \m/

Hey I got exactly the same model. The colour kinda sucks though in some ways doesn't it? It's wayy to dark sometimes and the flame maple veneer is almost invisible!

True mate, it is too dark unless it's in fairly bright light - wonder if the green is lighter? Still a bloody great geetar for the money tho! =)
