Knabe 1905

Authentique piano à queue WM. KNABE de 6 pi 4 po datant de 1905, de la prestigieuse série GOLD, en bonne condition et de couleur acajou. Le meuble, style victorien, et le vernis sont en excellent état. Le clavier est en ivoire véritable. Sa sonorité est chaude et veloutée, le touché offre une bonne gamme de vélocité ainsi qu'un équilibre dans la touche. Selon les connaisseurs, il serait un comparable de Steinway pour son époque, rien de comparable à un piano de fabrication chinoise Il tient parfaitement son accord, vient avec un humidificateur Dampp-chasser et a été accordé régulièrement.

Hello, the video does not help for the tone, but the piano seem to need voicing , the tone is full of high partials zinglings and impurities.

To have a piano listened it is better to simply play a slow scale all along the keyboard , without the sustain pedal..

Here the tone look short and very immediate and explosive.

The bass sections look nice. may be the hammers are slighly heavy for the kind of piano but mostly it may be a vocing issue.

May be tuned and voiced. Thanks for the video
