2006 Subaru B9 Tribeca Start Up & Rev

Start Up & Rev of a 2006 Subaru B9 Tirbeca.

This is a rather strange but decently equipped SUV. These come with a 3.0L DOHC Flat 6 ( H6 ) where the cylinders are horizontal like the Porsche style engine. This engine make 250 HP. IT's mated to a 5 Speed Auto.

The interior is very flashy, classy & quality is overall decent for a Subaru. This particular Tribeca seems to have a Bad Mafs ( Mass Airflow Sensor ) as it seemed choked up and lazy upon hard revs. Bad 02 sensors are a possibility too.

When these 1st came out, my brother told me the grill in these look like a pussy or the Wide open mouth of the creature in Predator LOL.. Maybe it had regular but it shouldn't of choked up if it had it.

A family member has an H6 ouback. I love the sound of it but the fuel economy is HORRIBLE!

I would've liked to see a test drive and 0-60 on this one! I love Subaru's. The door open and seat belt alarms are really annoying though..

yes, but they got rid of the B9 when they did that. Hence why I said the B9 tribeca requires premium

after 2008, Tribecas did not need premium fuel, due to the fact that it's 3.0 EZ30 H6 was replaced by a 3.6 EZ36 H6
