Thomas developed a unique way to create new rhythms and harmonies with a special kind of Livelooping: In a sophisticated equipment by AMS he created several pitch shifted delays and adjusted times and pitches until they made musical sense. I have not met any other musician doing this so deeply. It is not obvious to the listener but creates the character of most of his songs. He is also one of the very few who used polyphonic distortion on nylon guitar (by Paradis, Winterthur). Youhou! Matthias

Extraordinary track and album and this is the base for what later became LIQUORICE from the one-of-a-kind album VALLEYS IN MY HEAD with talented keyboard-player Santino Famulari. BOLIVA (should be Bolivia) and PORTRAIT and the fabulous MINDFRESHER from the Valleys album were the chart-toppers on Futuro Fm in Santiago, Chile, back in the late 80's / early 90s. They did magic on this gem of an album. One of the most sought after records of fusion music from the mid 80's and an essential collection of pure happiness, creativity and incomparable freshness. 5 thumbs up STRUGATSKY. I also love Famulari's album L'ARTISTE and all Diethelm's solo records as well.
