uhm i think that in Italy it might be hard to learn an "aboriginal" language..i have heard some sentences in a song and i do really like its sound. I wish i could learn it after having learnt a bit of Tok Pisin, Papua New Guinea's emerging official language!
In France and Europe we have just basque/Euskara* as an "aboriginal" local language, but in overseas territories New Caledonia/Kanaky, Polynesia and in Franch Guyana, we have.
Very insteresting, the structure must be very interesting.
*I mean before the Indo-Europeans(as celt , romans, german or slaves).

They are Pama-Nyungan and have no relationship to any language outside Australia.
