  • Kumanjai is my fave Warlpiri word....

  • uhm i think that in Italy it might be hard to learn an "aboriginal" language..i have heard some sentences in a song and i do really like its sound. I wish i could learn it after having learnt a bit of Tok Pisin, Papua New Guinea's emerging official language!

  • i learnt walpiri at my school

    in alice springs!

  • They are Pama-Nyungan and have no relationship to any language outside Australia.

  • Is it close to african, south indian (tamul) or asian languages (with these ng- or nd-)?

  • In France and Europe we have just basque/Euskara* as an "aboriginal" local language, but in overseas territories New Caledonia/Kanaky, Polynesia and in Franch Guyana, we have.

Very insteresting, the structure must be very interesting.

*I mean before the Indo-Europeans(as celt , romans, german or slaves).

  • This is amazing thank you for posting it! Where was this taught?
