Gary Garrett 36x24 acrylic on-site (plein air) painting time lapse (speed painting) landscape scene in Mandarin Florida, 9-30-07 painted on stretched canvas ... quickly before the rains began. I use several styrofoam plates as palettes on-site as I can stack them after use into a ziplock bag, so the paint doesn't get everywhere on the way home. Taped using the interval feature of a Sony DVR-TRV-27. SOLD IT ON EBAY.

It was time-lapsed using a Sony TRV25 in INTERVAL mode (1/2 second every 30 seconds).

Brilliant stuff :) And as for critics they can all F@@K OFF , i bet not one critic can draw or paint only give their veiws as to how they want us to draw or paint. Painting , drawing is/should be ones own personal style not what the "critics" think is in style at that specific time. Keep up your good work :))))

amazing! i wish i had the ability to paint like that. unfortunately i cant paint to save myself if my life depended upon it....though i am good with pencil drawings lol

I loved your painting. I paint for the enjoyment and I am learning to banish the critic. I wonder why there are so many unhappy people out there. Maybe if they spent some time working on painting themselves they wouldn't feel the need to spend time judging others and spreading their negativity. Keep painting and thanks for sharing.  You inspire others to paint.
