  • I live in Phila. and this zoo is a disgrace. Alligators are housed in enclosures not much bigger than the average bathtub. Box turtles are housed in filthy conditions. Reptile keepers are not open to suggestions. I wish people would stop supporting this facility. I feel sorry for those poor creatures who have such a sad life there.

  • @chicadesi1 You say you live in Philadelphia, but I can't believe you have actually visited the Philadelphia Zoo. What you are saying in your comments is simply not true in any way.

  • these turtles are absolutely awsome! the reach of their necks, an the forc that they can strike at you with is just amazing.

    check out River Monsters he catches one an they nearly get nailed its kinda funny lol.
