Mark Radcliffe is one of the most well-known faces on radio and has been a presenter since the early 80s. He has worked on Radio 1 and Radio 2 with Stuart Maconie, and has recently moved to Radio 6 where he
continues to deliver his refreshingly straightforward view on life. He'll be talking to music journalist Michael Odell about winning Stars in Their Eyes as Shane McGowan, a brief commercial success with his band Shirehorses, just how muddy it gets at Glastonbury and a lifetime love of music, which he describes in his new book Reelin' in the Years: The Soundtrack of a Northern Life.
Music by Jack Blackman.
