Protest Rally against HIV and AIDS Budget Cuts (part 1)

Friday I attended a rally to protest budget cuts to HIV and AIDS by the State of California. What stood out in my mind was the fact the the rally was poorly attended, but those who did take the time to come out to show their outrage were all very concerned about the budget cuts. Of the people I spoke to many of them HIV and AIDS patients who depend on help from the government to see their doctor and have access to meds have a greater fear of death. The last speaker in this video was awesome.

WoW!! I didnt know California was having budget cuts. its crazy how they are able to fund billions of dollors on finding the cure for swine flu, thats killed 1 american (many more by scientist, while testing out the drugs), but they want to cut funding on a desease thats killed millions!! Thousands every year.. its crazy!! Our priorities are out of whack!! Keep doing your thing man! =-)

Its crazy man and these cuts will affect me and plenty of others. Since I am not on meds I wont feel it as much, but plenty of people will not have access to care or meds. Thanks for the comment man. Please keep watching this is going to get crazy. It's time to ACT UP
